Jordan Duncan

Jordan’s story starts in early childhood. After being jumped on the street several times, his parents decided it was time for him to be able to defend himself. So, they enrolled him in the local taekwondo school. Little did they know that he would spend the next 10 years training because he had fallen in love with the practice. At his peak, Jordan trained twice a day in the gym, and went on a run every morning. He went on to fight internationally, and even taught taekwondo classes himself. Throughout his last year of taekwondo, he had put too much strain on his body. After acquiring enough injuries to be unable to walk upstairs unassisted, he knew he needed a place for all his energy and drive from taekwondo to go. After a lot of physical therapy, he quickly found a love for bartending. He found that he could channel all of his training and passion for martial arts into his new career path. He is still able to work on his feet, learn new skills, and teach others. He can still watch people grow and can even use his taekwondo training when there is no bouncer around at the bar. Most importantly, though, he has somewhere he belongs again. He has a new passion he can use to make people (himself included) smile again.
