So, it was my birthday last week and I decided to try a new Chardonnay. To be honest, I chose this wine because I loved the concept. My God, it was amazing. Off to Mt. Juliet today from my neighboring town to purchase more bottles. Lo and behold, there was Alexei, providing tastings of the wine I had come in search of…how fun!
Here is my story in a nutshell. I was a 21-year-old living in South Alabama, thinking I would never be able to leave. I then became a flight attendant, sent to live in Manhattan. This one moment in my life opened up doors for being able to travel and experience cultures all over the world. At age 63, I find myself grounded in Nashville, TN but still have that wandering lust and am proud to say I have passed it on to my 20 year old daughter, my favorite traveling companion.
